• Lilian and Aurora were able to escape the packhouse, but they could not easily flee from the Balkans because the borders were heavily guarded by the Gamma guards. Getting through would be difficult, and they would likely be caught by members of the Blue Moon Pack. They had no choice but to stay in the dense forest for a while and wait for the right time to cross the borders.
• "I wish you hadn't come here, dear. It's better to remain a slave rather than putting your life in danger," Aurora said, her voice filled with concern. "What will happen if they catch us?" she sighed.
