Chapter 22 Eagerness

• Wanting to find out the truth, Denise looked for a private investigator to delve into Aron's background. She was sure that the man was connected to both Morgan and the Blue Moon Pack, perhaps, one of his beta, she thought. Although there was a familiarity with his scent, still it was hard for her to believe that it was Morgan. It was impossible for a powerful Alpha to leave his pack just to be here in Silverstone. They just resembled each other and nothing more than that.
• "Hey, are you okay?" William asked, his voice filled with sincerity and concern.
• "Yes, I'm fine, William," she smiled, focusing on the business proposals laid out before them. But no matter how much she wanted to set aside the thought about Aron, the more it lingered in her mind. She just hoped his private investigator would not take too long to provide her with the information she needed to know.
