Chapter 30 Disguisement

• Denise was still anxious. She paced in her room, waiting for her private investigator to call her, but he was still out of reach. She was in the terrifying thought that her mother, Aurora, might be in grave danger.
• Finally, Denise decided to go to the Balkans. She told her adoptive parents she was going to a business meeting and would be back in two days. She couldn't tell them about her real plan, because they still didn't know her true identity. She only told them before that she was an orphan and that Aurora took care of her.
• "Mom, you'll be gone for two days?" Liam's face was in a flat grimace, and he pouted his lips as he clutched his car toy tighter.
