Chapter 31 Uneasiness

• Morgan felt uneasy after telling Laura the truth. He was guilty, and at the same time he felt pity for the girl he considered his daughter. He couldn't even bring himself to tell her that he wasn't her real father.
• One morning, he drove Jenny to school, hoping to see Lilian again. He also wanted to see her child because he felt like Lilian's son was his own.
• "Dad, thank you for driving me," Jenny said brightly, hugging him. Her genuine affection for him touched his heart. How could he ever tell her the truth? He asked at the back of his mind.
