- “They will escort you home,” Elzar replied briefly, his voice calm yet authoritative.
- Dalia frowned. “Escort me home? Sorry, sir, I can go home by myself,” she politely but firmly declined.
- “I didn’t say you couldn’t,” Elzar responded in an unyielding, even tone. “I just want to make sure my employees return to the company safely,” he added, turning toward the ICU and gazing deeply into the room.
