• "Never mind, maybe later," Gerald replied quickly, stealing a glance at Stella and Elzar.
• Dalia gave a faint smile and nodded slightly, as if she understood the meaning behind Gerald's words. The room fell silent again until the elevator chimed and its doors slid open. In sync, Gerald and Elzar stepped aside to make way for Dalia, leaving Stella and Brian exchanging confused glances, their brows furrowed.
• Despite the attention, Dalia remained calm as she walked out of the elevator, her cane tapping lightly on the floor. She moved with a measured pace, her steps uneven but steady. Stella followed close behind, walking alongside her until they arrived at the reception desk where Stella usually worked.
