• Dalia stood frozen in place, her eyes scanning the surroundings, but she didn’t realize that the man had already stepped out of the car and was now standing right in front of her. She kept her head down, trying to process the sudden situation, until his firm, cold voice broke the silence.
• “Get in, Dalia,” Elzar said flatly, his tone leaving no room for argument.
• “Thank you, Mr. Elzar, but I…” Dalia attempted to refuse.
