Chapter 30

• Dane stood at the gate, dumbfounded at what just happened. What the hell just happened? He asked himself. He looked outside the gate and saw that the van had not driven far away so he ran to his car and drove out of the mansion wildly.
• Lily ran out of the gate to see what made Dane drive out of the mansion like that but all she saw was Dane's car swerving crazily on the road.
• Dane's hands shook as he held the steering tight. All that passed through his mind was the last image of Alexia getting snatched and with the last look he saw on her face, he could tell how scared she had become in that split second.
