Chapter 23

• A man in a well tailored suit walked into the Belcraft company and everyone who met on the way bowed to him. His aura and dressing left most of the staff agape. He had a completely bald head and earrings in his ears. For a man of his age, many would not expect not expect him to exude such a level of confidence. The workers bowed for him as he walked past them without sparing any of them a glance. Some of the workers tried to get out of his way so they wouldn’t stumble into him. The man smiled inwardly at the reaction of his staff to him. When people first started showing him extreme levels of respect, he tried to stop them and become cordial with them but he stopped trying and started basking in the euphoria of his achievements.
• The elevator stopped on the third floor and the man walked out of the elevator while calmly rearranging his suit. Everyone bowed to him as well. Pride swelled in his chest and he resisted the urge to smile but no one had ever seen him smile so he kept his feelings in check. He finally got to his destination which was the board room and opened the glass door. He walked to the CEO’s seat and sat there confidently. Another man walked in and bowed slightly for him.
• “Good morning, Mr Belcraft.” The man greeted, still standing. Mr Belcraft acknowledged him by nodding and the other man took his seat immediately. He brought out some papers and started filling his boss in on some of their business proceedings. Mr Belcraft stared at his right hand man without saying a word, as though what the man was saying made no sense. After a while, he stopped looking and slammed his file hard on the table. His right hand man looked up in fear, frightened by his boss’ action. He waited for him to say something but he didn’t and insted continued staring at him until he was forced to speak up.
