Chapter 25

• Mrs Belmont walked down the stairs with her bag in her hands. She rolled her eyes for the hundredth time as she went to take her seat. Lily always took too much time to dress herself and now she was making them run late. She fought the urge to yell her name from where she was and sat on one of the sofas in the living room.
• She called on one of their maids to get her a drink and slowly sipped it while running out of patience. She glanced again at her wrist watch to check the time and when she saw what the time was, she looked up the stairs to see if Lily had finally finished dressing but she wasn't forthcoming so she was left with no choice but to yell.
• “Lily Belmont! What the hell are you still doing up there?” She asked angrily. One thing she hated and had always preached against was lateness and mediocrity in general so she hated to be the one arriving to the meeting of the Billionaire wives council late. As the president of the council, she couldn't afford to let any slip up happen.
