Chapter 94

  • Theron's POV
  • I had to do something and fast. I could not stand around and let anything else happen to those I cared about. I was leaving the room and heading straight to the cells where Morgan was being held. The storm outside was not just any storm; it was one of severe darkness that Morgan needed to face. I kept my wits about me and told myself that I would not let my anger get the better of me where my enemy was concerned. He needed to think I would help him if he helped us first.
  • As I stood before his cell, the weight of my decision pressed heavily on my mind. I took a second to steady myself and my breathing. He had so much to answer for, but I had to keep my cool for the sake of myself and everyone else.
