• As I watched Daniella's desperate attempt to assert her claim as Luna, a wave of anger and frustration washed over me. How could she be so blind to the true mate bond that connected me to the white wolf? I couldn't stand by and let her manipulate and deceive those around her, especially Rio, who deserved so much more than her false promises and schemes.
• "Enough, Daniella," I growled, my voice laced with barely contained rage. "You will not manipulate or control those around you to fulfil your selfish desires. The white wolf is my mate, and I will not let you or anyone else come between us."
