- As the day ended, there was still no sign of the King’s arrival. I could sense my mother's concern and my father’s frustration after all the great lengths the pack had gone to to welcome the King.
- “Alpha, it would seem that the King has stopped at the Silver Moon pack. There is talk of the white wolf being there, and he has gotten wind of her.” the patrol officer informed my father.
