• Tyler and Kristine spent a few more minutes together. Kristine was faced with reality when their hearts began to beat properly once more. She started to struggle, but she was limited in her actions by his weight. "Remain still, mate. If not, we'll have to start again from scratch. You awaken my senses," he muttered to her. She took a deep breath and instantly lay motionless.

He looked at her intently as he spoke, "Alpha Tristan will definitely be waiting for us he is aware by now that you had sex with someone else. After that, go stay with Rosalie and Gabriel; you'll be secure there. You're going to stand with them and watch how I handle things." She gave a nod, but her eyes were filled with terror.

With his hand in her hair, he pushed back her hair, exposing the mark on her neck. He bared his fangs and scuffed the wound until it started to bleed. He then licked the blood away. That was the final blow to the Alpha; his power and dominance would immediately begin to wane. He was just a pained mess right now. After freeing himself from his mate, Tyler used his sweater to clean her up.
