Chapter 22 – Prevented Evil

• They set out on the journey, which would take roughly two hours. Gabriel made the conscious decision to drive in order to spend as much time as possible with Rosalie. Her smile was back on her face; everything was going as planned. They will primarily be traveling across Human territory, but they will also be passing near the Red Claw Pack ruled by Alpha Derrick Cromwell.
• Gabriel informed him of their passage out of respect; they were merely on speaking terms rather than close friends. Alpha Derrick was a man of brutality. He was infamous for inflicting the most horrific penalties on his pack members, does not take no for an answer from anybody, and has been charged to the Lycan court than any other Alpha in that region.
• Alpha Derrick kept a harem of the most exquisite women and was unmated. Despite the fact that the women wanted to be with him, his actions go against werewolf society, despite the fact he was an extremely attractive man. But since there were no universal laws against polygamy or keeping a harem, nobody could take legal action against him. And that was the origin of all the problems.
