Chapter 164 — Labour
- A few days have passed since our date. Denzel has not allowed me to leave the house. He is anxious that anything will go wrong. I was working with a few of the women in the house to prepare it for my two-day Luna ceremony. After our conversation, Denzel and I decided that the ceremony must take place by the end of the week. I was not formally Luna yet, but I was still considered one by the other pack members.
- I was quite proud of that fact. I was not the fearful girl who had come here the first time. Denzel was contributing more to the training while I was busy getting things ready.
- "I think these flowers will look great," I tell one of the women who is lending assistance. Jane and Cressida were also a big help. They were better informed than I was about the Luna ceremony. As I moved toward the girls' location outside, Cressida started to cry. I hurried to her and gave her a firm grip on her arm. "Are you okay?" I inquired as she clutched her stomach. Her response took many minutes to come through.
