Chapter 118 – Confined

• I slept for over an hour, and I feel rested and ready to complete my mission.
• My little luggage and the clothes I left here have been taken to my quarters by Kristine. I settle on a lightweight sweater and a pair of black pants, which I then throw a cardigan over. I comb through my blonde hair to restore its shine.
• There was silence when I got to the main floor. Most likely, everyone had gone to their rooms. But Gerald is waiting there when I exit the door.
