• Mona’s words bothered me the whole day. I didn’t even know what to tell Josiah to make it up to him.
• “Don’t look at me like that,” Mona chirped when she caught me glaring at her.
• We are now in the hideout as we’re about to discuss our game plan. Well, we don’t really have a game plan. We just love talking about the gangs that we beat who keep sending us gang fight invitations.
• I took a deep breath and cocked my head to the side. “What was that? You totally acted so rude to Josiah!”
• Mona gave me a confused look. “I was stating a fact.”
