Chapter 87

  • I made my way towards the bar and sat there watching everyone. I tried to ignore the obvious stares the bartender was giving me. My eyes scanned the crowded place searching for the man I danced with. I did not see his face but if I heard every single male voice then I'd surely catch his up.
  • Shaking my head at my own stupid idea, I stood up and went outside. Peter said not to move and so I went and sat on the bench. I closed my eyes as tiredness washed over me. I was exhausted and tired and drunk and tired but I was still very much exhausted, not as much as tired I was but definitely drunk than I ever was.
  • Low whistles made me snap open my eyes. There was a group of men watching me. I closed my eyes to calm myself. I knew those stares very well; those stares which made one rub their skins off their body in distaste. I got up from my seat and started to walk away from them. Even though I tried to calm myself, following footsteps made me increase my pace. I should've probably stayed back in the club.
