Chapter 37

• I wanted to go to a bar and drink my sorrows out but gave up the idea. I drove around the city trying to distract myself. It was almost evening when I ran out of petrol, that I realized that I had to head back home.
• But there was one thing that made my gloomy life a little bit better that evening as my friend Joe arrived. She was our friend from school and had become quite close over the years. She was a very naughty, pretty, and sensible girl. I know a weird combination right, but Joe was very different.
• A few years back Jamie had been utterly lonely as Jackie had to come back home from the boarding school as she was not well and she was missing home but Joe had arrived on the scene and become her life savior, she was rebellious with a zeal for anything.
