Chapter 10

I received a call from Brett while I was still sleeping in the morning. He wanted to fly down but I told him not to come as I was recovering and at my brother's place. We spoke for almost half an hour and finally, he told me to take care of myself and hung up.
I was smiling before I went back to sleep again.
It was around eleven that I woke up with Nick pushing me to get up as I had to have my medicine. I freshened up with the help of the housekeeper Maria, a very efficient lady then had my breakfast.
