Chapter 32

• Brett was trying to be really charming by telling me his lame jokes and I was observing the way he was speaking and finally, after a long time, we pulled into the car park of the very prestigious local restaurant.
• However, once we were inside I discovered that his actions were totally different and aloof than I previously imagined. I had learned quite early about Brett, he would never change and so I should never assume anything about him he was unpredictable.
• We were not on a date as I had initially believed, instead we were joining his friend who was celebrating one of their friend’s anniversaries.
