Chapter 24

• Jackie put her cell phone down before Jamie could back out again. She got to her feet. With Jamie on the warpath with her, she had better go and inspect her wardrobe and see if she has any dress to wear for the ball. But when she browsed she could not find anything appropriate. She thought for some time and then smiled.
• The next day after waking up very late Jackie got dressed, took her car keys, and went to the living room telling her mom that she was going shopping with Nick.
• Beth just smiled and told her to drive safely.
