• My breath hitched as the seconds passed, my tears falling uncontrollably, I watched him there and didn't know what to feel. Part of me was resigned, angry, frustrated and very disappointed, and another part of me really didn't know what to feel.
• But the more I asked him to get out of there, the more I wanted to ask him to hold me. My world was falling apart, the only world I had and knew, and as much as he was the cause, I had nowhere else to go.
