- I opened my eyes and my body felt tired, my head ached a little and no doubt my eyes were puffy.
- I stretched and yawned. I couldn't remember exactly when I had fallen asleep.
- As I sat up in bed, I looked out the window, it was night. When I turned around and looked at the clock on the bedside table, I noticed that it was past nine o'clock at night.
