Chapter 5 The Beauty Named Rachel

• Her name was Rachel Sadler. She was Wilbur's age, and she was Neptune Intelligence Corp's operations director.
• After exiting the elevator, Wilbur rode to Neptune on his electric motorcycle.
• Wilbur had used his expertise to modify Trevor and Serena's faces on last night's recording to Jackson and Jane's.
• Jane and Serena were similar in figure and height. However, Serena's face was slightly prettier than Jane's.
• After arriving at Neptune, Wilbur sent the recording to Rachel via MMS.
• Very quickly, her call came.
• "Who are you?" Rachel's voice was devoid of all emotions on the phone.
• To that, Wilbur answered softly, "I'm the husband of the woman in the video. I'd like to have a word with you, Miss Sadler."
• "Where are you? I'll come right over."
• "I'm right in front of your building. Why don't I come to you instead? If you could please be so kind as to let your receptionists know that you're expecting a visitor."
• At that, he ended the call and strode into Neptune International Building.
• He had been worried that Rachel would see through him, but who'd have thought she would have such a major reaction after watching the recording.
• Perhaps it had to directly do with her new promotion as Neptune's operations director.
• From the profile he received, Rachel had been promoted not too long ago.
• Surely her career would be majorly affected if a kin's salacious clip was publicized.
• Moreover, any working professional would have at least one, if not many, rivals within the company. After all, Wilbur knew that especially well.
• He never had any dealings with Rachel in the past since Sanlow was filled with tech companies, and Labyrinth was just a tiny enterprise. They stood no chance of having any business dealings with big shots like Neptune.
• Soon, Wilbur arrived at Neptune's operations department and got to Rachel's office in a flash.
• After knocking twice gently, Rachel told him to come in.
• Wilbur was transfixed upon seeing Rachel when he pushed the door open, for this woman was even more stunning in real life!
• Likewise, Rachel was stumped when she saw Wilbur; he was tall and burly, and his facial features were defined. In particular, his stubble made him look rather manly.
• After locking the door behind him, Wilbur approached Rachel with a smile.
• "Hi, Miss Sadler, I'm Wilbur Leeds. I have to say, you look even more gorgeous in real life."
• However, Rachel wasn't in the mood for small talk, looking at him disdainfully as she asked, "Let's cut to the chase! How do you want to settle this?"
• In actuality, she had long known Jackson's infidelity, and Jane wasn't his first lover.
• However, because of their parents and work, she had deliberately maintained the completeness of this family of two with Jackson until now.
• "I like your frankness, Miss Sadler! In that case, I'll get straight to the point. An eye for an eye; whatever your husband did to my wife, I should do the same to his as well. It's only fair like that, don't you think so?" Wilbur grinned as he proposed.
• "Forget it!" Rachel said immediately with a cold gaze. "I can promise you anything but this."
• "In that case, there's no reason for us to continue this conversation," he said while turning around. "It's just that I will easily go to the extremes if I don't get the fairness I want. I heard you have just assumed your role as the operations director not too long ago, and I bet many are eyeing this office."
• At that, Rachel asked through gnashed teeth, "Will you put this entirely behind if I agree to it?"
• Knowing he got her where he wanted, he turned around with an evil grin while saying, "I'm all about equality. Your husband did that once to my wife, so I'll do the same to you once as well. That's it. You will never see me again. Unless… you come to me yourself!"
