• I walked into the private room and found Frank seated at the table. He was wearing casual clothes, and his rather pale skin was illuminated by the dim light that emanated from the chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
• "Is it okay for you to be out like this?" I asked, taking a seat.
• It was a little awkward meeting Frank like this. We had never had a lot to say to each other, really, and with what had happened with Lydia, things between us were a bit tense.
