• Carla's POV
• As the evening continues, I spend more time with Eugene and Carter, discussing the upcoming trip and making plans. Carter assures me that everything will be kept low-key and discreet so that Julie won't suspect a thing. We decided to tell her that I'll be away on a photography assignment during the time of the trip.
• Later that night, instead of going back to Julie's place, I head over to Cara's room. She's always been like a confidante to me, and I know I can trust her with my worries.
