• Carla's POV
• "I guess we should just take our baths and go to bed. I'm sorry to disappoint but I can't touch you," the king muttered. It was hard to hear this. I had already set my heart on receiving his touches but all I was expecting now was no touch. I breathed hard. I trailed my fingers through my hair in frustration, I pouted my lips, and my eyes glared into space as I was lost in thought.
• "Guess you can be satisfied looking at me!" This wasn't what I wanted, so I couldn't say a word, nor did I refuse.
