• "What's the problem?" He snapped in the midst of the silence, my tension dropped so dramatically as I was quite curious if he would listen to me, I was afraid he might end the call and block me. As he said this, I didn't move so fast to give him a reply, like I did before, I recreated his voice again in my head, there was an element of sympathy, a confidence booster.
• "I got into an affair with...." I paused, wondering if I should really tell this to him, it popped up in mind that I was supposed to he presented with my pregnancy test result in court tomorrow by Carter himself if not that Venice had the suit a call-off, there would be no way the public wouldn't get to know what was going on. It was as if I was in a series of information revealing moments, it dawned on me at this point too that I was now a wife, not a mistress to Carter, our court marriage wasn't organized yet but that would be soon, today or tomorrow. He had already ordered the bridal materials. There was nothing to hide from him.
