• Carla's POV
• Mom has always talked about marriage with me, I'm already graduating from College, only a year is left. I didn't expect a man to say the same thing she has been saying. Carter storms out of the house, the prince follows up after him, I close my eyes, hot tears begin to flow.
• "Mom, why did you call me to witness such a humiliation?" I turn to blame her. She leads me out of the room, back to where she took me from. There she sits me on the bed, dad walks in with a worried face.
