• “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this relaxed,” Kade said, his voice low, but with a playful edge to it. He was leaning against the porch railing, watching me as I paced back and forth, trying to adjust to the new sense of calm that had descended on our pack.
• “I don’t think I’ve ever had the chance to be this relaxed,” I replied, glancing at him over my shoulder. “It feels... strange.”
