Chapter 31
- It had now been 2 days since he hadn’t woken up. Marcus gave him some blood every day and a further examination by me showed no further injuries. I stayed with him and watched him sleep. Whilst everything was peaceful during the first day, this changed during the first night. He started sweating and talking in his sleep. Dragan had nightmares... probably not often, since vampires don't need to sleep... but it made him a little more human for a moment. By the time the second day was over, the lack of sleep was taking its toll on me. I had trouble getting through the day.
- But I was more afraid that I might miss something. I spoke to him, called his name, but he remained silent. I stood at the window and looked out into the green landscape of the garden. Spring had already arrived and life was springing up everywhere. It was a full moon night.
- "It's beautiful Dragan. The full moon lights up everything. Only Kynell will probably have to carry his pack again today."
