Chapter 18
- The next few weeks until New Year passed in silence, as quiet as the snow that covered the landscape outside. Marcus and Dragan stopped talking about the ghouls in the church and I didn't have the will to ask. Yes, I was curious, but I felt like a fly attracted to something that would kill me in the end. There was a knock and Vici came in, followed by two blonde women, a clearly gay man in a pink tank top and a rack of clothes.
- "What the hell is all this? I thought we were getting ready for the ball together in peace."
