No, I wasn’t in his head but the look on his face, the shadows clouding his eyes, they screamed he couldn't hear a single word. “Are you really such a clod that you ignore a lady’s pain so?” He had the audacity to look surprised at the question or was he just surprised I was there because he was finally listening? Whatever it was, I didn’t care, what I cared about was an explanation, it wasn’t the biggest deal, I could have easily swept it under the rug, but the least I deserved was a freaking explanation.
