• Was she ever going to call? She was doing it again. Making me wait. The first time I didn’t mind because she was thinking about it, considering it, weighing her options, but this time, she was obviously stalling and I didn’t have the stomach for it.
• I was back where I started, unable to focus, not because I particularly cared, but because the longer she stalled, the longer I had to tolerate Camila’s presence. I didn’t want to do it, but she was leaving me no other choice. I don’t think making her fall for me would be as easy as I thought it would be. If I had learnt anything, it’s the fact that she would go to extra lengths to make sure she wasn’t remotely close to me.
