- She had that look still. She held onto the door like she was holding on for dear life. She looked like she was still deciding whether she wanted to let me in or not. I let myself into the room.
- She was stiffer than a rod, she was barely breathing. I took another step into the room and she took one back, away from me. I knew what she was doing, she was creating distance.The way her shoulders were hunched up, I actually wanted to rub on them, even if it were to ease the tension.
