- Tired of the incessant staring through the rear view mirror, “What is it?” I clipped. His eyes should be hundred percent focused on the road, not me.
- The fine lines of his forehead creased as he gulped, apprehension oozed off of him. “Sir, I’m sorry to ask but why are we going to the embassy today? According to the schedule we are supposed to be headed to meet the head of the Japan branch, or at least at the site if not the hotel.” I ignored the immediate surge of anger that came with being questioned, it was in his job specification to drive and mind his business, not monitor my schedule.
