- I hear the car pull up in the driveway. I run out to see how Reese is doing. I have been worried sick since Roman left. I was relieved when he called, but he was so vague about what happened.
- I rush out to her. She is covered in blood and upset. She holds on to Thomas. He carries her past me. I dare not bother the two of them. I can get all of the details from Roman.
