Chapter 18

• Reese wakes the next morning in bed alone. Luca is gone. She reaches for his side of the bed and finds a note with a single white rose. Reese opens the envelope containing the note.
• *The company car is here; your keys, credit card, and cell are on the bar. I will be by the studio to see you tonight. I will miss every moment we are apart*
• Reese holds the note close to her and smiles. “I guess I am going back to work,” she says.
