My hands were tied behind my back. All I could do was struggle as detectives came in one by one, not a single one conducting an actual investigation. They all have went through a couple documents, filled my name and laughed about probably anything that wasn't in line with my case. Soon, they all left, my hands still handcuffed. The door open wide and I was ready to lash at the person coming right through it.
My head tilt up and suddenly my chest seem to fall as my eyes widened. My mother walked in, her face etched in disgust. She trailed towards the chair opposite me as she dropped her hand bag on the table. I watched her sit down, her face cold and devoid of emotion. Her face was swollen, her eyes red as trace of tears formed dark circles round her eyes.
