- The music fills my ears as I moved towards the rhythm, dancing with Emmette. I held him close, my forehead buried in his chest while my hands wrapped tightly around his neck. We were both dancing slowly to the music playing, and something about this calmed me down, pulling me out of the reality that I had created for myself, and I found myself wishing this could last forever. Emmette had his hands wrapped around my waist as I listened to the sound of his heartbeat as it comforted me.
- I tilted my head to the side, my ear pressed against Emmette's, to see Penny and Herald dancing as well. But instead of Penny burying her head in Herald's chest, she had her eyes on Herald, looking at him with wide eyes. Herald would mutter something and Penny would laugh as quietly as she could as they carried on talking without caring that all eyes were on them.
