• My eyes stung, I couldn't tell if it was from the tears or the sheer exhaustion of the interrogation. I could barely tell what time it was. Two of the cops left the room and all I slowly rest my head on the desk. My body vibrates in pure fatigue. Then I heard the loud click of the door knob twisting. I immediately rise, my body went rigid at Instinct, expecting the officers to rerun.
• I didn't see the officers, but what I saw made my heart drop. My mouth seemed to dry of saliva. My heart raced. I looked away as the door slammed shut.
