• I rose onto my toes and kissed him—slow, deliberate, eyes fluttering closed. My fingers traced the buttons of his shirt, sliding between the fabric and his skin. Blake’s hand settled on my waist, pulling me closer. His breath was warm against my face, steady and heavy. He accepted the kiss like he’d been waiting for it—patient and eager all at once.
• His lips parted mine slowly, teasing, before his tongue gently touched mine. His free hand cupped my hair, caressing it with an up-and-down rhythm. We moved together, perfectly in sync. I melted into his arms as he bent down to meet me, closing the small gap between our heights. The pace quickened—mine burning hotter with every second, despite the chill night air keeping my sweat manageable but sweet.
