Chapter 33 Hunter Or Prey
- Blake's POV
- When I was six, seven, maybe eight, I loved chocolates more than my life itself. I wouldn’t go to class without one tucked into my lunchbox. I became so used to the sugar rush, it turned into an addiction.
- My mother eventually caught on and decided to use it against me. If she asked me to run a simple errand and noticed even a hint of hesitation, she’d withhold the chocolates. The pain of not having them was bizarre—so intense that I’d cry myself to sleep, my whole body trembling from withdrawal. It was unbearable.
