• I knew that Dani wasn’t actually mad at me and that the reason why she was speaking harshly was because she herself would be bombarded with questions from her parents the second she stepped foot into her house and that the answer she gave them…might or might not be directly proportional to her going to tonight’s party? So I didn’t mind the sharp tone.
• However…at that moment, I also knew that I had to tell her what I had been hiding from her all this time. Because Dani was my best friend and no matter what…if I was leaving the pack or not…she deserved to know the truth and she needed to know it from me.
