My words reverberated in the tense air between us, each syllable laden with the weight of my fury. The sacred vows he spoke of felt like hollow echoes of a past I no longer wished to be a part of.
“You truly have lost your mind, haven’t you?” He asked, his expression twisted, contorted by anger. His eyes bore into mine, and the intensity of his gaze could have set fire to the air between us. “Your newfound freedom has caused you to become just as delusional as you claim me to be! You truly have forgotten your position in the hierarchy of our world!”
