• “And is it just as magnificent as they say it is? The library?” Dani sighed dreamily. “I’ve been watching all the pictures you sent me over and over again…they’re just so…perfect…!”
• I laughed as she let out another dreamy sigh. I knew just how much she wanted to come to California with me once she learned I got accepted in UCSD, but unfortunately, she had applied too late and her letter didn’t get accepted. We’re hoping she came come next year though, because honestly…I hadn't anticipated just how much I would be missing her as soon as I reached the campus.
