Chapter 9 The House Tour

• I shivered nervously as I looked over and saw Alpha Ashton gazing directly at me. I quickly averted my gaze and returned my focus to the scene outside the window.
• We approached a huge house that looked like it could be a hotel. It was very different from Alpha Jacob's house. The driveway was lined with tall, imposing trees, and the front yard was meticulously landscaped. It had attractive brick walls, three stories, large windows with balconies, and a yard with bushes and trees. There were benches under some trees. Trent stopped the car right in front of the house and opened the doors for us.
