I had always loved running through the forest, feeling the cool breeze on my face, and listening to the rustling of leaves. It was my safe haven, where I could escape from my worries and find solace in nature.
- Leaving the hustle and bustle of the party, I walked into the forest. Ashton was going to the hospital with Edward. As I wandered deeper into the woods, the sound of my footsteps on the forest floor was oddly comforting. It was a welcome distraction from the chaos of the feast and my own self-doubt.
